A Walk in the Park
Because Menopause isn’t.
This World Menopause Day we're getting out and about.
Join us in Kensington Gardens on 18th October for our first-ever Menopause Mandate Walk in the Park.
The theme for World Menopause Day is cardiovascular disease, and what better way to get the blood pumping than an autumn walk?
Come with your friends, colleagues, partner or children. Starting off at The Albert Memorial with an entertaining warm-up at 3 pm, we have a 2k and 5k circuit for you to choose from, and it's a walk and talk, not a race! We just have to be finished by 6pm when we're officially out of the park.
Many of our wonderful patrons, experts and ambassadors will be walking as well, on what promises to be a fantastic afternoon of support, friendship and story sharing.
We want to make this an annual event, taking place in parks all around the country (and eventually the world) to raise awareness about menopause.
Book now. We are charging a small fee to cover event costs, and any proceeds will support our chosen charity for 2023 - Wellbeing of Women (www.wellbeingofwomen.org.uk).
Every (paying) participant (under 13s and dogs on leads don't need to pay!) will go home with a shiny MM WIP Medal....and hopefully a big smile on your face.
We hope you will join us.
